Finally Eating History at Harry’s Place
One of Copenhagen’s most iconic hot dog stands, Harry’s Place in Nordvest, has been serving classic Danish street food since 1965. From sausage with bread to legendary flæskesteg sandwiches, it’s a must-visit for anyone exploring local food culture. Featured in guidebooks and even partnered with Heinz, this spot is true Copenhagen food history. Read about my first visit and what makes it so special.

Crispy Chicken, Cool Vibes: A Dinner at Red Temper
I stumbled on Red Temper while exploring Nordvest on Google Maps — and it was delicious. A small Korean spot on Borups Allé, it serves up crispy fried chicken, refreshing hibiscus lemonade, and truly kind service. A slight order mix-up turned into a great experience, and the food more than satisfied my Korean craving. Not perfect, but definitely worth adding to your takeout list.

From the warm, handmade naan to the friendly service and unbeatable prices, this hidden gem delivers far more than just good smells. Trust me: supermarket naan is officially canceled.
