Hubb Kitchens – A Nordvest Takeaway Gem

You’ve probably walked past Hubb Kitchens without noticing—it’s tucked away on Bisiddervej in a quieter pocket of Nordvest. But don’t let the discreet exterior fool you. This place is all about good takeaway, done well. No seats, no frills—just a solid, flavor-packed menu cooked out of one big kitchen.
It started with burgers and fries, then came poke bowls (my personal favorite), and now they’ve added gyros to the mix. It’s a bit of everything, which usually makes me nervous—but somehow, they pull it off. Everything tastes fresh and intentional.
You can tell they care about ingredients: Danish chicken, nice buns, actual herbs, pickled onions that aren’t just for show. It’s fast food, sure, but with standards. And honestly, that makes all the difference.
It’s my go-to when I want something comforting but don’t feel like cooking or compromising. You can order on their website, Wolt, or Just Eat—and the variety usually means I can find something that hits the spot.
Pro tip: if you’re heading to Gamma on a night when Rays Chicken isn’t open (and outside food is allowed), Hubb is just a 10-minute walk away and makes for the perfect pre-beer meal.
So whether you live in Nordvest or are just passing through and craving a quiet night in, Hubb is absolutely worth checking out. Bonus! check their Instagram for some very good-looking takeout. You’ve been warned.
