Gamma: A New Chapter for a Danish Craft Brewery

Updated: Apr 26

Founded in 2015 as a side project, Gamma quickly made a name for itself in the Danish craft beer scene. Less than a decade later, they’ve taken a big step—opening their very first dedicated bar, right here in Nordvest. Their beers have already found their way into bars across Copenhagen, Denmark, and beyond, but now, they finally have a home of their own.

Gamma’s lineup is all about quality and variety, ranging from classic styles to bold sours and hop-forward IPAs. Whether you’re after something familiar or looking to try something new, there’s always a beer with personality waiting for you.

Their new Nordvest bar is spacious, making it a great spot for big groups, celebrations, or just a casual night out with friends. If you’re planning a gathering of 8+ people, you can even book a table in advance. The vibe? Modern and industrial, fitting right into the evolving heart of the neighborhood, just south of Frederikssundsvej.

Beyond the beer, they offer a selection of wines and cocktails, and even coffee for those taking it easy. If you’re feeling snacky, they’ve got small bites, but the real bonus? Ray’s Chicken serves up fried chicken, sandwiches, and fries from 4 PM until sold out, Wednesday to Saturday—and it’s seriously good. If that’s not your thing, you won’t have to go far—Gaza Grill, opening in Spring 2025, will be right next door, bringing some top-tier Middle Eastern flavors to the area.

With great beer, a welcoming space, and top-notch food options, Gamma Bar is a must-visit for any beer lover in Nordvest.
