Updated Article — Nordvest Wine Bar Guide (Fall 2025 Edition)

Updated: Nov 15

Nordvest’s wine scene has grown — here’s what’s new!

Nordvest is bursting with unique spots to enjoy a glass of wine — from cozy neighborhood bars to creative food halls, sunny outdoor hangouts, and local wine producers hidden in industrial buildings. Over the past year, the wine landscape has evolved a lot: new bars have opened, existing places have expanded, and local winemakers have become more visible across the neighborhood (or at least to me!).

This updated guide brings together all the best places to drink wine in Nordvest, plus the new additions shaping the scene right now.

🍷 New & Noteworthy Wine Spots

These are the newest additions to the neighborhood — all worth checking out.

Dave’s - (Frederikssundsvej - opened summer 2025)

One of the brightest new openings in Nordvest this year. Dave’s is a beautifully renovated, warm, intimate bar-and-restaurant created by two locals who rebuilt the entire space by hand. Their rotating small-plates menu changes constantly — fresh, creative, and perfect for sharing — but the wine list is the real star.

Dave’s works closely with local importers from both Nordvest and the rest of Copenhagen, offering natural wines, classics, unique bottles, and genuinely great recommendations. The atmosphere feels effortlessly welcoming, and the combination of good food + excellent wine makes it one of the safest bets in the area.

Expect a lot more coming about them — but for now: go, drink, enjoy.

--------

Bjørne og Tolv Haner - (Rentemestervej — opening within the next month)

A beloved natural wine bar from Amager is opening its second location right here in Nordvest, just a few hundred meters from my apartment — and if it’s anything like the original, it will be a cozy, candlelit, high-quality staple of the neighborhood.

I’ve passed by the construction a few times and the space already looks warm and full of potential. Consider this one to watch: a future local favorite in the making.

--------

Siefert & Friends — (Inside Nørrebro Street Food)

Part of the newly renovated Nørrebro Bycenter food hall, Siefert & Friends is the wine counter attached to the Urban Camper bar. It’s run in collaboration with Siefert Vine, a family-owned wine importer based right here in Nordvest.

The setting is casual — it is a food hall, after all — but surprisingly cozy. You can grab a glass of wine alongside excellent food from the surrounding stalls (Indian, Thai, taco fusion, burgers, etc.). It’s a great “easy afternoon” or “we don’t want a formal dinner” kind of spot, and in the summer you can bring your drink outside.

--------

Lunden (Summer-only outdoor wine spot — by the team behind Minas Kaffebar)

Lunden became one of Nordvest’s unexpected summer hits: an outdoor hangout surrounded by greenery, relaxed seating, simple food, and very affordable bottles of wine (often under 200 DKK).

They also pour wine from PoorChance Winery, one of the local makers in the neighborhood.

It’s a casual, warm-weather-only spot — perfect for long summer evenings, impromptu hangs, or a slow drink in the sun.

Closed for winter, but absolutely worth adding to your list for next year.

✨ Established Local Favorites

Flere Fugle – Wine and More in a Cozy Nordic Setting

Flere Fugle started as a café and bakery in early 2022, quickly becoming a Nordvest favorite. Though known for their incredible bread, pastries, and chai lattes served in handmade Julie Damhus cups, the wine is what truly elevates this spot.

Over the past two years, Flere Fugle has expanded its menu to include pizzas and a wider selection of drinks. Pairing these casual, delicious bites with a glass of wine has made it a great dinner destination. During the summer, the real magic happens when you grab a pizza and head over to Fire Tyve’s tables next door for a perfectly paired wine.

Whether you’re there for a quiet weekday afternoon or a lively weekend evening, Flere Fugle is an ideal spot for wine lovers who appreciate a relaxed, unpretentious vibe.

Kima – Natural Wine Meets Inventive Small Plates

Kima, the third restaurant from the team behind Omar and Lamar, has quickly become a must-visit for its natural wine selection and thoughtfully crafted small plates. The staff’s knowledge of wine is one of the highlights—they offer spot-on pairings to match their menu of fresh vegetables, fish, and meat dishes.

The wine list changes regularly, so there’s always something new to try. Whether you’re stopping by for a glass or planning a full meal, Kima offers an intimate, buzzing atmosphere perfect for wine enthusiasts.

In the summer, you can sip your wine outside while enjoying the neighborhood’s energy, and in colder months, heaters make outdoor seating cozy.

Autopoul – The No-Frills, So Nordvest Wine Spot

Autopoul captures the essence of Nordvest with its stripped-down charm. Located in what looks like an old car repair shop, this spot is all about great natural wine and a laid-back crowd. The outdoor area, plastic chairs, and garage setting might be simple, but they’ve managed to turn it into one of the most vibrant places in the city for wine.

Autopoul is only open during the warmer months, making it a seasonal favorite. Its survival was uncertain for a time, but thankfully it’s staying open for another season. If you’re in the mood for an unpretentious wine experience that feels quintessentially Nordvest, Autopoul is the place to go.

BONUS! Wine Stores and Wine importers

Vin de Table – A Natural Wine Gem

Vin de Table, located at Frederikssundsvej 33, is a must-visit for anyone serious about natural wine. As the flagship store of Melin Vin—the company I trusted for all the wine at my wedding—it’s my second favorite wine shop in all of Copenhagen, right after Rosforth & Rosforth. The fact that it’s just a five-minute walk from my apartment is a major bonus!

The staff at Vin de Table are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. Even though I’m not a wine expert, they always help me find the right bottle, and many of their recommendations end up on my "buy-again" list. They’re also a delivery point for Birkemosegaard vegetable boxes, making it a convenient stop for wine and fresh produce.

For those wanting to enjoy Melin Vin’s selections in a bar setting, their only bar, Josephine, is located in Amager. I’m also trying to nudge Vin de Table into organizing wine tastings—who knows, it might happen one day!

Whether you’re grabbing a bottle for dinner or starting your wine journey, Vin de Table is an essential stop in Nordvest.

Høtoft – A Hidden Gem for Central and Eastern European Wines

Høtoft is one of those places you'd only find if you're looking for it — tucked away in a small street of Nordvest. This little wine shop specializes exclusively in Central and Eastern European wines, making it a dream destination for anyone curious about Slovenian, Georgian, or Hungarian bottles. The owners, a passionate couple, are always ready to guide you to your next favorite wine — whether you have a clear idea of what you're after or just a vague craving. Their descriptions are wonderfully down-to-earth, making it easy to imagine the wine before even opening the bottle. Be sure to check their opening hours before heading over, as they're only open a few days a week — but it's well worth planning your visit around it.

PoorChance Winery (Urban Winery, Low-intervention wines made in Nordvest)

PoorChance Winery is one of the most unique players in the area: an urban winery producing low-intervention still and sparkling fruit wines right here in Nordvest. They don’t have a bar space (we can always hope!), but you can find their bottles throughout the neighborhood — especially at Lunden during summer.

A great name to know if you like to support hyper-local craft wine projects.

--------

Siefert Vine (Local Importer based in Nordvest)

While not a bar or a shop, Siefert Vine deserves a place here. They’re a family-run natural wine importer and their concept is to import from a few producer and they sell their wine in kegs to local spots to make serving easier.

Nordvest is bursting with unique spots to enjoy a glass of wine, whether you're in the mood for a relaxed afternoon sip or a full dining experience paired with natural wines. Here are some of the best places to explore the wine scene in this vibrant neighborhood!
