Lygten Bazar – A Treasure Trove of Flavors in Nordvest

I often forget just how incredible shopping at one of the bazars in Nordvest can be — but Lygten Bazar, one of my absolute favorites and conveniently close to home, always reminds me. Every time I visit, I leave genuinely happy, whether I’m there to buy something specific or simply to browse and discover new things.

It’s a true treasure trove. Craving that dish you once enjoyed at a restaurant? They have the ingredients. Searching for those leafy greens you never find in regular supermarkets — hello, swiss chard! — they’ve got you covered. And if you’re picky about your labneh, get ready to be amazed: they stock many MANY varieties. That delicious mango drink you can’t get enough of? Look no further. And nuts? Don’t even get me started — though I still struggle to find pecans come Thanksgiving!

Beyond all that, Lygten Bazar features a fresh fish market, a well-stocked meat counter, freshly baked bread, and so much more. It’s one of those places that always surprises and delights me, and I can’t recommend it enough.
