nordvest & more

Our 2025 summer continues in Nordvest, and July is already shaping up to be packed with things to see, do, and taste in Nordvest. Here are a few highlights I’m especially excited about this month:
First up, KBHFF (Copenhagen’s organic food co-op) is taking over Demokrati Garage during the first two weeks of July with workshops, market days, screenings, and talks—all focused on food systems, fermentation, sustainability, and community. I’ll definitely be spending time there (and probably writing more about it too).
Then of course, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival arrives—bringing music to every corner of the neighborhood. From Lunden to Flere Fugle, from Bellahøj Kirke to Husumvold, and even in unexpected outdoor spots, jazz will be everywhere. I’m fully expecting to walk down the street and hear a band playing just around the corner. And Café Lunden alone is hosting a full series of daily concerts—one of my favorite places to catch live music in a low-key setting.
I'll also be keeping up with my weekly 6km Heat Run
