Explore Nordvest: A Different Kind of Copenhagen Tour

Practical Information below for Saturday Organized Tours and Private Tours

I’ve spent the past years exploring the many corners of Nordvest—its bold architecture, layered history, local cafés and food spots, and most of all, its people. When I first moved to Copenhagen, I worked as a tour guide showing visitors the classic sights. Now I want to take you somewhere different: an alternative, non-touristy walk through real, everyday Copenhagen—community corners, street culture, and reused industrial buildings—seen through my eyes.

This isn’t your typical Copenhagen tour (and definitely not what’s in the guidebooks). It’s a small-group, relaxed, 3-hour walk in one of the city’s most overlooked neighborhoods, led by a guide who cares about both buildings and bakeries, creative studios and corner shops, the past and the future. Along the way, I’ll share personal anecdotes, local recommendations, and insights gathered from interviews with residents and small business owners. Whether you’re visiting or you’ve lived here for years, I hope you’ll leave thinking, “Why didn’t I come to Nordvest sooner?”

What to expect: walkable pace, conversation, architecture and community stories, and a few bites to eat. I can’t wait to show you around.

— Constance

Reviews from past tours:
Tobi, August 9th: "I enjoyed exploring an area of Copenhagen that is lesser known and not (yet) in the focus of mass tourism with a person who's obviously deeply rooted there, even though you haven't been born there. It was a lovely walk, and I would highly recommend it as a walking tour [...]. Learned a lot about the industrial history."

Lilly, August 16th: "I found the tour extremely enjoyable, and would recommend it to others. I very much love the idea of slowing down a bit and taking a deeper look into an area of Copenhagen with its history, culture, and residents. The tour gave me a better idea of what’s going on in the modern day Danish society. I liked the route, plus the stories [Constance] chose to tell. [...] I’m soooooo glad I got the chance to enjoy the tour with Constance and the group"

Gera, October 11th: "Enjoy learning about the exciting community in Nordvest, with your best guide: Constance. Couldn't have a better experience. Easy-going vibes with lots of interesting facts and stories on the community and the buildings. I'm impressed by all of Constance's knowledge. Expect having delicious little treats Constance's unique talent will get you excited to inmerse a bit in the history, community dynamics, the day by day life, ideas, workshops, events and also fun facts about Nordvest.  Beautiful way to start a day in Copenhagen, I highly recommend."

Gulshan, October 18th: "This tour was different than I expected. This was more like friendly tour where two of friends have nice walk around the town which I liked most. I liked how [Constance] showed me some fascinating parts of the town’s history that are hidden by recent development. Thanks again for the wonderful trip."
